A small-batch espresso cup that pairs a hand-finished porcelain body with a turned wooden handle. At 70ml it is sized for a proper short black rather than a diluted one, and the contrast between warm timber and glazed ceramic gives an ordinary morning routine a bit of ceremony. Available in black, white, blue and green, each with its own subtly different glaze pooling and edge tone.

The porcelain is fired dense so it holds heat through a slow first sip, while the wooden handle stays cool to the touch even when the cup is full. Because each piece is finished by hand, small variations in glaze depth and handle grain are part of the character rather than faults. Linden & Oak Co. selected a lead-free, food-safe glaze with no high-concern chemicals, suitable for espresso, ristretto, tea and thick hot chocolate.

Hand wash in warm water and dry the handle promptly, as prolonged soaking or a dishwasher cycle will dull and eventually loosen the timber. The cup is not microwave safe because of the wooden component. Group two or four on a tray for guests, or keep one beside a home espresso machine as a daily driver.
