Description

A small 80ml stoneware cup made for gongfu brewing, where the point is a short, concentrated pour you can actually taste. The scale forces you to slow down and drink across several steeps rather than one long mug, and the low, open shape lets the aroma lift straight to the nose as you raise it. Five hand-finished styles are available.

Each cup is thrown and glazed by hand, so the wall thickness, glaze pooling and foot ring differ slightly from piece to piece. The stoneware body holds heat without becoming uncomfortable to pick up, and the matte exterior gives enough grip for wet fingers on a tea tray.
