Description

A single-layer coral fleece blanket built for the in-between weather where a doona is too much and nothing at all is not enough. One layer keeps it light and packable while the jacquard-woven geometric surface still traps enough air to take the edge off a cool evening. It settles rather than slides, so it stays where you put it on a sofa or across a bed.

Seven colourways - white, grey, khaki, yellow, blue, green and pink - run across six sizes from a 70 x 100cm lap throw to a 200 x 230cm bed cover. The lighter weight is what makes it genuinely multi-purpose: it folds small enough for a car boot, a picnic basket or a carry-on, and it is the blanket most people end up reaching for on a plane or in a waiting room rather than the heavy one at home.

100% polyester, colour fastness graded 3-4, machine washable and fast drying. Wash cold with like colours, tumble dry low, and avoid bleach, hot irons and fabric softener. How small does it actually fold down?

Being single layer rather than double, it folds to roughly a third of the bulk of a quilted throw. The smaller sizes sit easily in a backpack or the boot of a car.

Is one layer warm enough for winter?

As a sofa or nap blanket, yes. The coral fleece pile traps air rather than relying on thickness. For a deep winter bed layer, most people put it over an existing doona rather than instead of one.

Which size should I pick?

70 x 100cm is a travel or pet size, 100 x 150cm is the standard single throw, and 180 x 200cm upwards covers a queen bed. When in doubt, size up for sofa use.

Will the pattern fade?
